A progressive voice for public education in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Public Education is vital to the health of our community.  The Jefferson county school district serves a large, dynamic, and diverse community.  We must be responsible, thoughtful, and intentional with the resources at our disposal to leverage educational excellence and opportunity for every student we serve.  We truly are #BetterTogether!  

I am a fierce advocate for children and youth.  I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being, and that all people deserve a voice in our democratic society.  I believe that public education can play a vital role in building a just and equitable society.  

Education matters.  I am running for the school board in my own community, inspired by the students and teachers in my own life, to ensure that public education continues to support the possibilities for every and all students to succeed and thrive in our schools and in our shared future.  

My experience as a public school classroom teacher, as a parent, and as a lifelong educator will inform my work as an elected school board member.
